Punt Partners is a startup that works with brands to drive marketing outcomes. We are building a SaaS product that utilizes generative AI to enhance marketing outcomes.  Led by second-time founders with strong backgrounds in technology, design and machine learning, the company is backed by leading angel investors in the Indian internet/ marketing ecosystem.

Role: Front End Developer 

Areas of Responsibility

• Collaborate with the product and design teams to create pixel-perfect, clean and semantic user interface for our core product
• Write modular, scalable and efficient code and design easy-to-understand abstractions
• Design and build internal frameworks and libraries that help us reuse code and deliver fast
• Work on automation to actively measure and improve quality and performance of our frontend apps. Keep abreast of new technologies and introduce them as and when deemed fit.
• Actively participate and contribute to product design, code reviews, as well introduce other best practices within the team.

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience in developing modern web apps using frameworks such as React
• Strong experience with ES6+ and Typescript/Flow
• Strong grasp of CSS fundamentals and the ability to design experiences in HTML/CSS
• Experience with one of Less or SASS
• Expertise with modern frontend build tools such as webpack/rollup/next.js
• Ability to write highly performant and reusable UI Component libraries
• Ability to work independently
• Passion for learning and ability to quickly become productive with new technologies

Great to have

• Ability to wear a designer hat
• Experience with Canvas / Reason
• Previous startup experience
• Open source contributions
• Writing technical blogs and contributions at conferences
