Good Intentions Can Be Evil...

For those who like to listen to the mellower side of Rock n Roll.
In 1987 Bob and The Dead toured together
and here's a little taste of that.
I like a bit Dylan now and again but I know next
to nothing about The Grateful Dead.
Great sound on this.

Tracks 1-12 JFK Stadium,Philadelphia,July 10 1987.
Tracks 13-14 Giants Stadium,East Rutherford,July 12 1987.

Raised On Promises...

Here's a fine double album from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Featuring a couple of guests of course.
Taken from various TV performances over the years.
The legend is missed.

You That Hide Behind Desks...

Two legends touring together in 1986.
Bob Dylan and his pretty special backing band
Tom & His Heartbreakers.
Looks like it was value for money as it's
a mammoth setlist.
Of course Tom gets his fair share of tunes too.

You Build Your Big Guns...

 Bob from 1988.
An enjoyable show once again.
I know the well known songs, the others?
first time hearing them.
No idea what album he was touting at the time.
When it comes to Dylan I'm a best of listener
rather than an album guy.
"Masters Of War" will that song ever be
not relevant?

The Answer My Friend...

From Ireland 2014 it's another Bob show.
Excellent audience recording (probably).
With a 60 year career and still going.
A big influence on a lot of Rock 'n' Rollers.
Even The Beatles and The Stones took something from Dylan.
Another fine concert of old school Rock 'n' Roll
and a band that doesn't miss a beat.

Play A Song For Me...

Here's another Bob show as promised.
I'll go with an audience recording for this one.
But don't be put off by that it sounds excellent.
No info on this so had to do a little digging,
it would appear to be from The Hammersmith Odeon,
London,England Feb. 12th 1993.
Once again another excellent performance by all involved.

Rain Falling On My Shoes...

First time on the site I think for The Legend - Bob Dylan.
From England 2011 and also featuring guitar maestro
Mark Knopfler on some tracks.
If you can get into this groove it's excellent.
Even if the vocals are a bit of an acquired taste at this point.
The band is impressive tho'.
