See Their Bodies Out On The Ice...

Well well well...it's been nearly 40 years since my ears have
been subjected to the delights of Mr Tatler's guitar
playing style in a live environment and how I've missed it...
He still has IT... and for 45 mins had me transfixed and
thinking back to those wonderful Marquee Club gigs waaay
back in the 80's. short set but included 3 of my favourite
DH songs so I was a happy bear...Enjoy,Ed

Yes I Am...

Here's one that's been up before, here it is again.
From one of the best bands to come out of that
whole early 80's Metal scene.
Diamond Head,they just couldn't catch a break.
I suppose it all started to go wrong when they got rid
of two original members after the first album.
Then replaced them with two guys with better hair!
Plus the second vinyl release was a disaster as most
copies had a fault so many were returned.
Still going and touring with Saxon in November.
Another from Eddie.

Lightning To The Nations...

Someone MISSED These a While Back...
Maybe, You Did as well...
Here's Your Chance to Get 'Em, NOW!

**************************************

If My Memory Serves Me Right Over the Years...
Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and Diamond Head
were Supposed to Be the Three Bands to Come Out of the NWOBHM - BIG!, according to Kerrang!
Well, as Jim Steinman once wrote, "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad."

Here's an E.P. Diamond Head Released Back in 1982...

It Has a Couple Live Tracks and an Interview...

I Listened to Their New Release: Lightning To The Nations 2020!

It's Good, But It's Awful Hard to Match The Magic of Back Then, After All These Years! The 7 Songs They Re-Recorded Seem Louder and Better Produced In This Digital Age...
But I Still Prefer the Original Version!
Plus, They Really Screwed It Up By Adding 4 Cover Songs For Some Reason?...

Diamond Head - In The Heat Of The Night (1982)

And Here's a Concert From 1984!
It was Recorded from the Radio and
Has a Pretty Good Sound Quality and
The Band Is Rockin'...

The Band's Line Up Had Changed by Then...
But Still It's a Nice Listen!

Thanks to the Original Uploader of These Classics!

On Borrowed Time...

As we all know these guys should've been huge.
They were heads and shoulders above their contemporaries
in terms of songwriting.
But there were many reasons that they didn't get to the Premier League.
Here's the show that a young Lar Ulrich attended.
Hence the title.
Years later he did do them a favour, unfortunately that
was blown as well.
Enjoy!
