Those early albums and their live album
couldn't be beat.Unfortunately as time went on they lost
their Southern Rock edge and went a bit AOR.
No doubt looking for the hits that never came.

You wanted the best, you got the best.... This is one of the best Journey shows available
in trading circles. I did some research and as far as I can tell none of these tracks were
used for official releases like 'Captured' or the 'Greatest Hits' DVD. So luckily, I didn't
have to leave out any tracks (I hate incomplete shows!).
The bootleg is called 'Messin' with the Kid', and it has a great sound. IMO Journey never got any better than during this time... I don't have artwork, but perhaps you can find it on the internet, since it's a pretty well-known bootleg.

It's ex Clash frontman Joe Strummer and his Mescaleros
back in 2002 playing a five night stand in Brooklyn.
I don't know anything about this band but what I listened to
was pretty tasty.
This is from April and unfortunately Joe passed
away in December.

Quality Melodic Rock from Foreigner captured live.
Absolutely massive at one time,they had the songs
and the song writing.
Plus it didn't hurt that in Lou Gramm they had a
world class singer.
Maybe better known for all the hit ballads
they had but they could Rock out too.

One of the better Alt. Bands that I got into for a couple of albums.
Sounding mighty fine here captured in Amsterdam back in '97.
Their album Throwing Copper is the one I enjoy the most.
Seems to be the most consistent there's not a duff track on it.
Enjoy this one,band and crowd right into it.
