Obsidian One The early Hecate Enthroned releases with Jon on vocals are legendary, but Virulent Rapture is an excellent album as well. There's a lot to like here, with 'Abyssal March', 'Plagued By Black Death', 'Euphoria', 'Life', and 'Of Witchery and the Blood Moon', making it a must-have in my symphonic black metal collection.

St. Corax I purchased this album months ago and promised myself I'll give it a proper review. Since then I've been listening to it almost everyday, trying to find fitting words to describe those damn amazing accoustic guitar parts.
For me it's a hidden gem that will never move from my front line of favourite albums. Favorite track: Of Witchery and the Blood Moon.

DarkFire Brilliant black metal album by the UK's most underrated black metal band! Simultaneously brutally heavy but also melodic and symphonic in places, this is an album that black metal fans absolutely owe it to themselves to own. Unhesitatingly recommended. Finally, if you enjoy this then check out their latest album "Embrace of the Godless Aeon" - it's the best symphonic black metal album that's ever been created. Seriously. Favorite track: Of Witchery and the Blood Moon.

H.L. HECATE ENTHRONED belong to the elite of British Black Metal since the mid-90s. After a long creative break this album has been published originally back in 2013, compiling some great melodic black metal tracks which are powerful and symphonic at the same time. Another trademark is the dynamic interplay of screams and growls. The album highlights are "Euphoria", "Virulent Rapture", "Paths of Silence" and especially "Of Witchery and the Blood Moon". The remaining tracks are not quite as catchy. Favorite track: Of Witchery and the Blood Moon.

Here's to some more cosmic metal, the Karlsruhe based outfit offers crude yet extremely well produced sound in this earlier effort. Featuring mid-tempo cadences, occasional blast beating, high pitched shrieking essentially, the riffing has this mildly meaty, sensational over-atmospheric tilt that's always well received on my part. The perspective of getting sucked into a wormhole had never felt better I kid you not. Emperor and Inherits the Void in mind, you just can't skip this one. doive
