New Omny Interface!

In October 2024 we are rolling out the new Omny Studio user interface. It includes some important and exciting changes designed to help you get the most out of using Omny for your podcasts. See the summary below for highlights.

Changes and Enhancements

• Ad and Chapter Markers are no longer added by opening the Clip Editor; you can now place and see them on the clip details page, in its own “Markers” section.

• Chapter Markers are also now displayed in all clip waveform views, including the clip list.

• Audit history event limit has been increased from 90 to 365 days and is now also in its own tab in the Clip and Playlist views.

• Stay logged in to multiple organisations, opening different systems in new tabs.

• Uploads are processed in the background so you no longer have to wait for the upload to complete before navigating away to do other tasks.

• Select a different timezone when running analytics and viewing reports.

• Auto podcast settings have moved to Program Settings from the Playlist pages.

• API keys are no longer visible after being created.

• Warnings now included when overlapping schedules are created in recordings.

• A new request form for disabling two-factor authentication as an admin; this creates a simplified workflow for users who need IT support.

• A sticky header appears on scroll across the edit clip details forms.

• Verified Plays now tracks 60-second sessions on supported players.

• Audio editor trimming tool is more accessible, Ad and Chapter markers functionality moved to clip details.

• Creating programs can now be assigned at Network and Org level permissions.

• Scheduling a visibility change has its own section.

• Manual playlist sorting has been sunset due to superficial effectiveness.

New Features

In addition to the enhancements listed above, the new interface comes with some exciting new features, including:

• Transition your podcast’s RSS feed audio into an engaging video, using Headliner.

• Upload host-read ad audio into Omny studio directly. The ad audio is served out with its adjacent TAP flight.

Omny Help Center Search Tips

The search tool searches the entire Triton Digital Help Center. If you would like to limit your search to just the Omny Studio documentation, go into Advanced Search and choose the Omny Studio category.

1. Enter a term in the search tool.
2. Click Go to advanced search.
3. In Advanced Search, expand the Category filter.
4. Select Omny studio.
5. Click Apply.

Note that doing a category-limited search will exclude any references to Omny Studio in the Help Center’s knowledge base or Triton Academy sections, and will exclude any Omny Studio references in other document categories such as the TAP User Guide.
