i'm hironichu. i love tech in the broad sense — languages, runtimes, protocols, whatever sits underneath. these days i write mostly swift and rust, with a long open-source trail in the deno ecosystem behind me. networking is what i keep coming back to: QUIC, HTTP/3, the machinery that moves bytes around. i'd rather understand how everything works, down to the wire, than rebuild the wheel — and when i do build, it stays small, sharp, and allergic to bloat.
i take on a small number of freelance projects at a time. no agency, no middle layer — you talk to the person who writes the code.
