I played John’s route a while back but waited to play DIAG to finish the other two. I find it interesting that the LI’s (well, two out of three) returned to the work they did prior, and I was briefly questioning if this was the future or the past. All the protags stories were pretty relatable in a depressing way, making it feel a bit more personal what they went through, though I think a lot of people go through the same situation at some point in their lives.

Not gonna lie, Lucy’s route was the most uncomfy for me as I’m a nurse and have considered forensic pathology as a possible career path for the same reasons (would rather the solitude). So I was pointing at the screen so many times yelling “SHIT THAT COULDA BEEN ME”! It took a while to stop calling Caleb 'Evil Mr. Hanson', considering they’re complete opposites of each other. His characterization was super unnerving with not only how absolutely normal he acts, but how professional he is that there’d absolutely be zero chance of knowing the truth other than happenstance. And the happenstance was purposely planted because he’s narcissistic enough to want to be acknowledged for what he’s done (Jack the Ripper type shit). If you’re interested in exploring this kind of mystery/detective/thriller genre more, I can definitely see Caleb getting involved in more stories.
John’s relationship with Eric is pretty sad considering he doesn’t actually seem to see John but rather as an emotional stand-in for the person he couldn’t get. Ultimately the poor kid just ended up running around in circles unable to deal with his feelings.
I’m sorry, but I laughed so hard at jacked-up Luna and also questioned my sexuality at the same time. XD Completely missed the fact she was from DIAG cause no one else looks like her now!
P.S: One of my favorite bands, Sonata Arctica, has a series of songs across their discography revolving around a stalker named Caleb that I couldn't help but connect this Caleb to. The latest one, Dark Empath, seems to fit him a lot.

So when I first thought of making a cruel love interest, that song instantly came to mind lolol

We actually debated a lot on whether or not to consider it canon, but it’s definitely something that would happen if they ever went back to a “normal” life after spending years in a cell reflecting on their crimes.
Haha you’re welcome! I watch way too many true crime shows and stuff about criminal psychology and love playing detective piecing together stuff (which made me love DIAG just as much). Caleb surprisingly has turned into my new fav character, just because I like trying to figure him out. The idea of someone like him existing is so terrifying- being so normal (on top of charming) and knowing that he does what he does with the same ease as going to the grocery.
As also a long-time SonArc fan, I’m ecstatic to find others that enjoy the lore in their songs, too! ❤️

Hey just a question... Is it a thing of each MC can choose one of the 3 love interests or more like an each MC is paired with a specific love interest kinda thing? Cause I enjoy playing as male MCs and love John's design and personality. Really a breath of fresh air as a protagonist that felt real to me. But there's almost no dark/ yandere type VNs that aren't yaoi or yuri, which is okay Ive enjoyed my fair few of those, but as a (mostly) straight guy I really was hoping this would finally be one where I get to be a male MC with a female love interest. It's basically non existent in this genre😂 and Luna had me basically on my knees when I saw her 😬

I LOVED that game, the art was gorgeous and I loved the difference between each characters whether its the MCs or the LIs, they each have struggles and different ways of living with them.
I was just wondering if any ending is canon or if its just different ways meeting the LIs could go, like different paths etc etc. Like for Eric, he has 4 different endings but I was wondering if one ending in particular was canon or not.

As for your question… 👀 When we first started the project, the idea was to explore different possibilities for meeting the LIs after prison — multiple “what ifs,” with no single canon.
...That is, until Eric’s endings happened lolol
🚨 SPOILERS AHEAD!! 🚨
There is one particular ending — the one where John dies in Eric’s arms — that we've considered a possible “canon” route. We even wasted a lot of time with the idea of writing an epilogue where Eric sends a suicidal letter to Hanna, opening up about what happened… and how broken he feels after everything.
But alas, deadlines were brutal 😅 so that idea stayed tucked away in our files. That’s why we ended up leaving everything open, without defining anything as canon.
(Though, who knows… maybe someday we’ll come back to this particular ending👀)

Just finished all the routes and felt such a mix of unease and heart ache in each and every one of them. I saw little bits of myself and my life in all the MC's which made the stories really strike a chord with me. Really loved playing through these routes and I was so happy to see Eric again! <3 I played "Teachers with love and passion" awhile back and just saw you have some other games with these characters like "Death as guest out". I don't know why I thought each of the three MCs could romance the three love interests XD. I have to admit, I was a tiny bit disappointed that we couldn't romance Caleb as Jhon; that would have been interesting to see 👀. Anyways, I loved all the routes, especially Caleb's. I'M GENUINELY ASHAMED IT TOOK ME LIKE HALF A PLAYTHROUGH TO FINALLY NOTICE WHO ERIC WASSS!!! The moment I saw this on my feed, I had too play it! This game was not what I had in mind honestly, the plot twist AND MORE plot twist was jaw dropping. Eric's route, especially one of the endings was just insane to read. It was so good though!!!
I wont lie, I haven't played DIAG yet, because its too expensive in my country (I will get it soon enough!) But even so, I could get an understanding for what Luna and Caleb's route meant, though its just a intuition. But those endings were just not what I expected!
So far, would recommend this! The storyline and plot, plus the CGS were amazing! 10/10! <3

As for your question… 👀 When we first started the project, the idea was to explore different possibilities for meeting the LIs after prison — multiple “what ifs,” with no single canon.
...That is, until Eric’s endings happened lolol
🚨 SPOILERS AHEAD!! 🚨
There is one particular ending — the one where John dies in Eric’s arms — that we've considered a possible “canon” route. We even wasted a lot of time with the idea of writing an epilogue where Eric sends a suicidal letter to Hanna, opening up about what happened… and how broken he feels after everything.
But alas, deadlines were brutal 😅 so that idea stayed tucked away in our files. That’s why we ended up leaving everything open, without defining anything as canon.
(Though, who knows… maybe someday we’ll come back to this particular ending👀)

Just finished all the routes and felt such a mix of unease and heart ache in each and every one of them. I saw little bits of myself and my life in all the MC's which made the stories really strike a chord with me. Really loved playing through these routes and I was so happy to see Eric again! <3 I played "Teachers with love and passion" awhile back and just saw you have some other games with these characters like "Death as guest out". I'm about to play that one next! Thanks for the rollercoaster ride of emotions I loved it! :)

I don't know why I thought each of the three MCs could romance the three love interests XD. I have to admit, I was a tiny bit disappointed that we couldn't romance Caleb as Jhon; that would have been interesting to see 👀. Anyways, I loved all the routes, especially Caleb's. Another awesome game from you guys, just like always ♡.

The moment I saw this on my feed, I had too play it! This game was not what I had in mind honestly, the plot twist AND MORE plot twist was jaw dropping. Eric's route, especially one of the endings was just insane to read. It was so good though!!!
I wont lie, I haven't played DIAG yet, because its too expensive in my country (I will get it soon enough!) But even so, I could get an understanding for what Luna and Caleb's route meant, though its just a intuition. But those endings were just not what I expected!
So far, would recommend this! The storyline and plot, plus the CGS were amazing! 10/10! <3
