If you're looking to dip your toes into the exciting new bass music genre (or maybe you're already seasoned) like myself this is a great compilation and a great place to start. It manages to be soulful, experimental, and avant garde with a nod to more progressive dancefloors on occasion. Even the slightly ragga vocal track (and I don't usually care for those sorts of vocals) is pretty solid. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more from these artists and this label!
