I totally surprised myself with what I had accomplished in quilting last month. I had not set out to do all that but am quite pleased with the results. June is here and that means it is haying time on the farm. I do not drive tractor nearly as much as I used to, but am always on call. I stopped playing computer games 2 months ago and have been turning the computer off more often. However, I still find myself sitting here reading blogs and facebook for hours. So I am endeavoring to slow that down and focus on other more important things.
The RSC colour for June is teal/turquoise and I have pulled no less than 8 Bright Jane blocks that were prepped last year that did not get made. My OMG one-monthly-goal- is to make 8 blocks. They will all be foundation pieced using one of my Singer Featherweights.
In the meantime, I continue to read and write and kiss boo boos and change fewer diapers since both boys are in potty training. Whatever will I do when their Mom finishes school in 2 months?
Blessings,
Chris

So Blogger is updating stuff and it was suggested I post a comment on my own blog post and ask for be notified if comments are posted and they will appear in my email inbox. . . So here goes.
ReplyDeleteThis is working sort of. I still have to hunt for the comments but they are coming and I can respond by email again.
DeleteYou will miss those boys when their mom finishes school so make the most of it now. Enjoy making your blocks and good luck.
ReplyDeleteI certainly will but I will not miss having to be responsible all day and changing diapers. Sometimes I want to follow them around all day with the camera capturing some of their antics.
DeleteHi CHris. Enjoy your June sewing...between potty training. :) :)
ReplyDeleteYep, after many years, I'm changing diapers again. LOL. Have a great summer.
ReplyDeleteGood luck meeting your goal :)
ReplyDeleteI hope the haying goes well. We've come to a standstill again because of rain. You'll be at loose ends for awhile when the boys aren't there full time but you'll fill the time quickly. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteFun colors. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.
ReplyDeleteYou have inspired me to really slow down on my computer game and focus on my stitching more. Like you, I am still spending too much time reading blogs....and Instagram, oh my. It has rained so much here, there has been little opportunity to work in our little garden and large yard. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHope the haying goes well. Your daughter is lucky to have you to watch the littles. You will miss all those hugs and kissing boo boo's.
