UNM Housing Residence Halls Close 2:00PM on Saturday, May 17
All residents must complete a check out with their RA 24 hours after their last final or by 2:00PM on Saturday, May 17 at the latest. If they have gotten a mailbox key, they must return it to the Mail Room before their check out with the RA.
- Residents in need of a Late Stay Request may request it from their Hall Coordinator. Late Stays are granted in cases of extreme need and provide a move-out extension until Sunday, May 18 at 12:00pm.
- Residents approved for summer housing may remain in their current assignment until their summer space is available on May 18 at 5:00pm.

Population: You're considered a 'First-Year' student if...
- You have never attended college; or
- You are a graduating high school student with college credit earned through a dual enrollment program (regardless of the number of college credits earned); or
- You have completed less than 24 college credit hours since graduating from high school or earning your GED.
Format: Considering this is your first experience at UNM within your post-secondary (University/College) education, you will be required to participate in a 2-day orientation program.
Students will be able to choose to participate in either an NSO... In-Person! or NSO... To-Go! format.
Reservation is on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to review the available dates and secure your spot today!
