How to Draw an Acorn

Surely you know that the acorn is the fruit of the oak tree. In mythology, the acorn symbolizes life and richness. In ancient times, people believed that acorns have magical properties. Nowadays, acorn sowing is the main way to restore oak forests.

Materials
- Pencil
- Paper
- Eraser
- Coloring supplies

How to Draw an Acorn
- Draw the outline of the main part of the acorn.
Start drawing the acorn from the outline of its main part. To do this, draw an oval.
- Start drawing the outline of the top of the acorn.
Slightly above the middle of the previously drawn oval, draw a curved line.
- Add the sides of the acorn cap.
From the ends of the previously drawn line, draw two symmetrical curved lines.
- Picture the top of the acorn cap.
Use one curved line to connect the ends of the two lines you drew earlier.
- Draw the bottom of the acorn.
Add a curved line to the bottom of the main part of the acorn outline.
- Add the stem of the acorn.
Above the acorn cap, add the acorn stem using a curved line.
- Add decorative elements.
Draw some circles and ovals on the acorn cap and add thin lines on the main part of the acorn.
- Erase unnecessary lines.
Use an eraser to remove auxiliary lines that appeared during the drawing process.
- Color the drawing.
To color this acorn, you should use gray and brown colors.
