Today is the day... I am in the flow 😃 I wrote on the Substack account, then rewrote it in Slovene on FB, and now here is the version about universal support for CONSCIOUS LEADERS. Sure - business and love makes no sense for many people. But is that true? How will you succeed if you do not love what you do? How will you become a great leader if you do not love your employees? How will you sell if you do not love your customers? How will you grow if you do not love your competitors? How to walk the "conscious leadership talk"? There is a thin line - between love and hate feeling in business. How to love people who do not take responsibility? 🤔 How to love employees on payday? 💰 How to love employees when they complain? 😡 Be honest. 😶 Who still loves all the problems while managing business, please reach out. 💪 Until then, I will lean into love. The universal and fundamental state of being, the unlimited source for everyone. 💝 Love is free and within everyone's reach. The only difference lies in whether you recognize, feel, and live it. What do you truly desire in life? What is your greatest wish, your ultimate dream? Have you ever wondered why some people shine so brightly, radiating magnetic energy, while you feel NOT OK? Love is a limitless source within you, waiting to be embraced. It activates your power. 💗 When you allow love to come into your life, it impacts every aspect—your relationships, career, and well-being. It’s the foundation of a fulfilling life and success. The media landscape in Central and Eastern Europe is currently facing a "perfect storm" of challenges, including illiberal regimes, media capture, market failure, and disruption from big tech, which are destabilizing an already fragile ecosystem. A few of us, including Patrick Boehler, Boryana Dzhambazova, Cristian Lupsa, and myself, have been having regular conversations about how to address some of these challenges. While you’ll be shocked to learn that we haven’t found The Perfect Solution yet, we are keen to expand our circle and include more participants: journalists, newsroom leaders and media executives like yourself. Over the next few months, we plan to organize four open online conversations. We will invite expert practitioners from the CEE region and beyond to share their insights and hear from some of you as well. We have some ideas both about the most pressing issues and some of the people experimenting with interesting solutions, but we really want your input as well. Would you prefer a conversation focused on compensation, bonuses, employee share options, and salary transparency, or are you more interested in learning how successful newsrooms manage performance reviews, feedback, and the advantages and disadvantages of 360 evaluations? Are you curious how newsrooms have managed their tech stack, or used audience research? Are you interested in how others have managed conflict and addressed newsroom culture? "At this point in time, we’re likely looking at a sandbox model rather than a live listening and reaction system when it comes to the direct influence of user behaviour on a specific page. That said, Google does acknowledge limitations of quality-rater and sandbox-based result evaluation. " It sounds similar to what people typically experience with broad core updates (retuning rollouts). Are podcasters the latest AI victims? I've always encouraged our clients to reuse the content; there are so many ways to do this, no matter your content format. But AI has presented us with another that is quite honestly stunning. Over the years, I have written over 500 blog posts on the Avaans website. I'm "OK" at repurposing this content, but I tried the new Google Notebook LM to create a conversational podcast today. The podcast is NOT a bot reading my blog post (which I already have). It's two voices having a conversation, back and forth, about the main points of these blog posts. It's remarkable. There are some disadvantages to this experimental tool: 📌 no control over the podcast length (this one is over 22 minutes!) 📌 no control over the content, aside from the sources I feed it 📌 the voices are amazing, but it would be great if they were personalized a bit with names 📌 the podcast can not be downloaded or exported; it's available on a link only. Gala Che invited me to talk about Wikipedia. Thank you for that! It was a genuinely interesting conversation. The video is already up on the channel, feel free to check it out. The only downside — I spoke in Russian, but I’m working on that and will soon start creating content in Ukrainian. We talked for a long time, and a lot didn’t make it into the final cut — which is actually for the best, as there are things that shouldn’t be shared publicly. Wikipedia is more than just an encyclopedia to me. It’s a tool that solves real problems. For businesses, it’s a powerful tool. Every business has its own needs, but it all boils down to one thing: trust. Whatever is written on Wikipedia is generally taken as the truth. And that’s a fact that needs to be used wisely. Want a Wikipedia page? Great. First — strategy. Then — sources and proof of relevance. Only then comes the page itself. The question isn’t “Can it be done?” The question is “How do you do it right?” If you want results, you have to play by the rules. Wikipedia can do much more. It helps build trust, influence reputation, and if necessary — even reveal the truth about your competitors. But the other possibilities? Well, that’s a conversation for behind closed doors. In this video, I also talk about how I teach people to work with Wikipedia. This training is part of my new project, FCS Systems, which I recently mentioned. It’s not just about how to use Wikipedia — it’s about strategy, tactics, journalism, AI, and media buying. If that interests you, you know where to find me. But I’ll say this upfront: it’s not for those looking for quick fixes.

I rarely praise myself for my work here but this is a good occasion. Elemental.TV is an IPTV service for Bulgarian expats leveraging a freemium product-led growth model. I've been working on it for years. In Sept 2023 I got a business case to boost its ARPU by introducing paid content add-ons on top of the current plans. Along with the team we had to prepare a strategy, restructure the pricing, redesign the cart, and execute an activation campaign. We used Chargebee auto emailings, Brevo, Google Ads & Meta ads for activation & Smartlook for CRO. It took us around 8 months to prepare all. At the end of the TV season this is what we got: ✅ Crazy numbers in terms of add-on adoption & free-to-paid upgrades ✅ Almost no cancellations due to a smart churn-saving coupon. ✅ Average Revenue Per User growth by 15+% ✅ Annual Recurring Revenue growth by 30+% ✅ Paid users growth by 12+% FYI, these are no small net numbers behind.
