I wanted to keep the colors and finishes in this space neutral so that it still feels cohesive with the rest of your apartment's decor. All of the elements will easily mix with white so that anything can live with your existing pieces in the girls' room if/when needed as well as the daybed that will stay in place. I love the look of natural woods and industrial metal accents with navy, chambray and plaid to give the room a boyish sensibility, yet maintain a soft and neutral feeling.

I used something like this on our bed to change my son since we didn't have a dedicated changing table for him. You can just lay it on the daybed and you wont need another piece of furniture. You can also get disposable ones the make the early days a bit easier. - cream changing mat waterproof diaper changing mat changing

As lofty and light as you’d expect a well-made quilt to be, this quickly became one of our favorites. The cotton is so soft that you’ll want this as a year-round layer, and the beachy hues are a reliable addition to your mix. Prominent stitching and contrast striping provide appealing texture.
