Georgian molding

Over the past two centuries Georgian style has been explored and perfected. Today, we can see a classic example in this fine house in Atlanta. Entering the foyer, one sees the wood staircase with its thick balusters and newel post that hints at the attention to detail lavished upon the interiors. Wainscot paneling and arched openings with fluted pilaster frame the style in the principal rooms.
