Adoption is not for the best interest of the child

People say adoption is for the best interest of the child but if that were true adoptees would be considered the experts. We would be the people come to find out what could be done better. They would ask how we feel and make sure our mental health was covered. They wouldn’t erase us from our family tree and deny us access to it. Our birth certificates wouldn’t be changed.
