CHEESECAKE BARS 1 box cake mix (Duncan Hines Golden Butter Recipe Cake Mix works best) 1 egg 1 stick margarine (1/2 cup), softened 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 2 eggs 1 lb. box confectioners sugar Blend together the cake mix, egg and margarine. Crumble and press into greased 9x13" pan. Mix together with electric mixer the cream cheese, eggs and confectioners sugar. Mix until batter is smooth, and spread on top of first layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely and cut into bars. Chopped pecans may be added to the first layer. Use 1/2 to 3/4 cup.
