Paul Revere created a system of lanterns to warn the minutemen of the British Invasion. He's known for his famous ride on April 18,1775 warning people that the British were coming.

The Boston tea party was to protest the British Parliament's unfair taxation on tea. Some of the men tossing tea were disguised as american indians. The British responded brutally and it escalated into the Revolutionary war.

They were originally a group shopkeepers and artisans called the loyal nine but they let more people join them and changed their name.

Patrick Henry was born May 29, 1736 in Hanover county, Virginia. He was a patriot that symboled a struggle for liberty. Patrick served in the Virginia house of burgesses and the continental congress. He created the famous speech "Give me liberty or give me death."
