Kerry Kellett on Instagram: "One of the things I always asked about is the artwork I’ve got hanging on our staircase. So here’s a bit of a tutorial of how I create these pieces using a canvas, an old sheet & PVA glue. I picked up this large canvas from @therangeuk i’ve used an old bedsheet cut to size, making sure there is enough of an overhang for when you pinch and gather the material. You want to create a watered down PVA mixture that you can spread over the sheet, don’t worry if the sheet has creases in it, this will brush out with the glue. Once you have created your desired texture, make sure you leave the sheet to dry overnight if possible, so that the glue can fully harden. Paint in our desired colour and it really is as simple as that. #artwork #artworks #diyart #diyartwork
