A native of Pasadena California - Paul Casebeer was a prolific plein air painter during the late 20th century. His primary focus being the rugged beauty of the Arroyo Seco. Since then he has moved on to other artistic pursuits. Making his paintings from this period highly desirable. This oil on board work captures a grassy meadow with trees upon the horizon. Above which floats a bevy of lavender touched clouds across a broad blue sky. Signed "P. Casebeer" in red on the lower left. Includes a lovely custom carved gold frame.
