A new take on a vintage crochet pattern for the holiday season! Originally found in a 1980s crochet catalog, this PDF instant download gives the same magic from the original with all additions and modifications I chose for my blanket. The afghan is made up of squares that include single crochet, double crochet, and cluster stitches that give the most amazing texture and bubble like appearance of the trees. A step by step guide of the Christmas Tree square as well as instructions for how to back the afghan with fleece (which I do for all my crochet blankets, just like my grandma did) is included. The pattern is written in English, using US crochet terms. This listing is for the pattern only, and no other items or materials will be included. For this blanket I used big twist LIVING yarn from Joann fabrics. Intermediate level crochet, but detailed photos for each row in the square is provided to help beginner level. This pattern was created due to an overwhelming response from my TikTok, and is my first pattern on Etsy. I have been crocheting for over 3 years, and love creating new projects as well as following patterns from other Etsy shops.
