Tulip Toast | Easter Brunch | Spring Appetizer | Tomato Tulips
You can have your flowers and eat them too 🌷 This idea was inspired by @nstomatoes and soooo easy so don't be intimidated. Ingredients: • Cherry tomatoes • Bakery bread (I got a loaf with full garlic mix chunks baked in • Chives • Spinach or basil for the leaves And a spread! I used whipped chive cream cheese but you can make your own blend with cream cheese and herbs. I got everything at @publixgreenwisemarket @greenwisetally Start by using a toothpick or skewer to poke a hole in the tomato. It's much easier to do this in the beginning before you cut your tomatoe. This is where the chive will go in. Spread the cream cheese on the bread Get a sharp knife and cut the tomato almost in half but don't slit it all the way.
