This is an important thing to share to ASD kids and young adults. We Aspies trust new ppl more easily, and pride ourselves of being very direct and honest. It's not easy for us to say things other than what it is, and our need to explain things at length just make it worse. NTs might perceive us as 'know-it-all' or even arrogant. We need to teach our ASD kids some 'tricks' on how to recognize social cues so they can make friends with the right ppl.
