I use a few different mediums depending on the style. Here are some examples below: Building supply materials: - joint compound (also known as drywall mud) - joint filler (also known as wall putty or polyfiller) - topping compound *each of these have their own qualities such as thickness, drying time and ability to mix with colour. You can add acrylic paint or modelling paste to either of these depending on your desired effect. You could also add dry mediums to get more texture. Professional art mediums - modelling paste - impasto medium *you can add acrylic paint or dry mediums such as marble dust and sand, depending on the effect you want!
