William McKinley

Canton, Ohio, is proud to have been home to one of eight Ohio presidents. William McKinley built his career as lawyer, prosecuting attorney, congressman, governor and president. The Front Porch Campaign took place at his home on Market Avenue. He was shot by Leon Czolgosz at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, NY in September, 1901.
