How i did it: First i made a custom bokeh on my nifty fifty lense as described here Then I took out the christmas lights and started making some stationary stationary shots to try out. after that i started to move to get the flying star effect. The moving isn't that easy, the exposure was around 0.5s / 0.6s. The first part of the shot (first 0.3s) was to keep the camera absolutely still. so that the star form is nice and bright, and not blurred. The second part of the shot (0.2s) was to move…
