Kazuraki, a revolutionary new Japanese typeface designed by Adobe’s Type Engineering Team in Japan. The new design could become an inspiration and model for other Japanese type designers and foundries, enabling them to create more stylized and expressive fonts of their own. The Kazuraki design is inspired by the calligraphy of 12th century artist and writer Fujiwara-no-Teika, who is considered one of the greatest poets in Japan’s history.
