Stage 3 students first collaborate to summarize a story. They then organize the information into specific details on chart paper, and perform the parts as tableaus in groups. The teacher can take photos of their tableaus or, he/she can drum to help the students transition from movement to synchronizing their freeze positions. Not only does the process engage with a variety of learning preferences but it also advances engagement on a continuum of facilities.
