@at_home_with_betty on Instagram: "Is the £18 B&Q panelling kit worth buying? Having always used pine stripwood for panelling projects, I couldn't wait to try this ready made kit. The first thing to note is that unless you're panelling quite a small wall, you're definitely going to need more than one pack. This wall is 260cm and I needed 2 packs (but only used half of the second). Even so, buying two packs worked out more cost effective than buying individual pine stripwood. Secondly, MDF is SO much easier to cut and leaves much cleaner edges. It's also easier to sand down to leave a smoother finish. I found the panels a little too tall, though we do have quite high skirting boards, so I cut them a little shorter (for scale, I'm only 5ft 😅) The shelf was made using pine and is surpr
