Simply cut them down to size, stain/paint and install! SO GENIUS! And easy! A very beginner friendly DIY! You can use metal shelf brackets or if putting between two cabinets… simply screw them in! So far we’ve tried shaker style, decorative moulding, beadboard and a faux effect using wallpaper! Just love the variety across each style and the interest it adds to a plain wall 😍 That said, each method has pros and cons… Shaker style panelling - great that different thicknesses of MDF can be used. We have skirting board with a thin profile so used 6mm to avoid it sitting proud. I found that it takes longer to do the maths than to actually cut and install the panels 😅.
