Cruet Sets

A cruet or caster,is a small flat-bottomed vessel with a narrow neck. Often have an integral lip or spout, and may have a handle. Cruet has a stopper or lid. Made from glass, ceramic, or stainless steel. Cruets serves as culinary function, holding liquids s like olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Often have a filter built in to act as a strainer, so vinegar containing herbs and solid ingredients will pour clear, also used for lemon juice and other oils. Small cruet can hold ground salt or pepper.
