The ease and smoothness of your dance depend directly on your body control. It’s about feeling each part of the body, knowing how to distribute the weight correctly, maintaining axis, generate the necessary momentum and so on. Of course, achieving body control takes time and practice. Simply understanding the technique isn’t enough. To be more precise, if you’re a beginner, no matter how well someone explains the technique, if your body isn’t yet physically capable of doing it, you simply won’t understand how to execute it.
