Clothesline quilt

I finished this little mini earlier this week for The Mini QT Swap. For this swap you are supposed to make a very small little quilt that fits into the rounds theme. The theme this round was "Take Flight". I got the amazing Nanotchka as my partner. I soon felt very intimidated. She is such a talented lady, and it is hard to make something for someone you know could make something ten times better. This swap definitely stretched my comfort levels a bit. In all its glory... The clothes... Another angle just because... Can you see the puffy sun? Love that! This piece is 36 x36...much larger than I usually make these quilts. I had to create a new method to make it work on this large a scale. I have to say I like them even better this way. I'm making one for myself for sure. Ray and Joan can't take delivery for a few more days. It has to hang around at my house. This one will be hard to let go. I wish you could see it in person....the pictures…

Found this image on Facebook. Make a basic quilt with green on the bottom for "grass" and blue on top for the "sky". Add soemthing to be a clothesline then stitch baby clothes to it liek it's hangign out to dry.
