Class Dojo Reward Tubs | Class dojo, Class dojo rewards, Dojo rewards

Happy Summer! Welcome back to the Crazy Critter Café! So I've been thinking about how I'd like to use my Class Dojo reward system and here's the latest...Numbered Tubs to match the Class Dojo "point clubs". I used this idea toward the end of the school year and it seemed to work well. Students gave input on what they'd like to have in the tubs (thus, the 2 levels of sweet treats!) My goal was to have a daily Dojo time, but due to our hectic afternoon schedule, that couldn't always be done…

Tip Jar - Pink Pistachio for Kids Rewards

We all have those unruly tasks that seem to continuously bristle our britches. Those are the ones we justify ranking dead last on our to do lists time and time again. For the toddler, that could mean having to change his dirty drawers (yes, I’m talking about my own messy-poo-pants child who could care less how long the log stays in there). EW! For the 5 year old, that could mean having to eat the green beans you continually try to convince him are DEE-licious (Since when does gagging…

This is our most current one and seems to be working! They get points for…

Reward Good Behavior: Make and Fill a Treasure Box {+ FREE Behavior Sheet and Reward Cards Printables!} | Kids rewards, Reward system for kids, Reward chart kids

When my daughter was Kindergarten, her teacher had a treasure box, and each student who had good behavior all week could choose something from the Treasure Box on Fridays. I don't know about the other kids, but my daughter would strive all week for this reward. It was full of little things like stickers and fast food-type toys, but she couldn't wait to be able to choose a "treasure" for herself. I thought this was a fantastic idea and decided to make our own treasure box for at-home good…

Earning rewards | Kids rewards, Treasure boxes, Chores for kids

We try really hard to focus on positive reinforcement with our children. When I catch the girls doing something like helping each other, cleaning up without having to be asked, using kind words and manners, doing something (like homework) without complaining, I will say, "Go get a sticker!" They can also earn a sticker for doing things I have asked of them: little chores around the house or watching over Archer for a minute while I do something, etc. This is something I started when Harper…

The Teacher Dish: Going Once. Going Twice. SOLD! | Classroom reward system, Classroom auction, Classroom management rewards

Classroom auctions are a great way to increase positive behaviors in students. In my classroom, students earn tickets for positive behaviors. You can give tickets for just about anything- following school rules, helping another student, using kind words, turning in homework on time, reading extra minutes at home, or bringing back a paper with a parent signature. Really, any time you see a student doing a great job, or going above and beyond, they can be rewarded with a ticket. You can…

Just Wild About Teaching: Classroom Management Reward Treasure Box

Hey everyone! So today was our last day of class before we go on Spring Break! We go back on April 8th! A few weeks ago a teacher friend of mine and showed me a magazine called R I Novelty with party supplies and cute gadgets. I told her I didn't really want anything. She MADE me look again and by the time I finished looking through it, I had spent $65 on my kiddies. Great! Exactly what I needed, to spend MORE money! However, when it came in I was more than happy and couldn't wait to set it…
