Why Do Budgies Puff Up?
Budgies are known to puff up from time to time, which can concern their owners. Fortunately, you don’t need to worry. This is actually something that budgies do in order to keep warm. Their feathers will puff out and keep their feathers open to trapping air. The trapped air will eventually become warmer, making it so that they are surrounded by delightfully warm air. This makes your budgie feel safe and warm so that it can stay comfortable while it hangs out in its cage! edible food and water dishes, and enough room to spend time darting around as needed. As is the case with any pet bird, you want to make sure that they are secure but comfortable. It can help them to live happier and healthier lives.
