brianwilliams82 Post-reunion Exodus mixed with Razor with Kyle Thomas-esque, quickfire vocals. I fucking love it! How you feel about this one will very much depend on how much you like those Dukes-era Exodus albums, musically, at least. Favorite track: Justified Ferocity.

Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass) Stellar thrash with stellar riffs. An excellent album from start to finish. Favorite track: The Last Grain in Your Hourglass.

about

Violent Definition hits you hard with their new album! This is thrash metal full of aggression, attitude and technical skill!

6 years after the promising debut album, “Life Sentence”, the band has taken it to another level in all aspects, delivering a monster of an album in form of “Progressive Obsoletion” – out through I Hate (in conspiracy with Bestial Invasion Records) in November 2024!

Sound-wise we are on a journey to the late 80s Forbidden, Vio-lence, Razor, and Slayer – keeping the old aura, letting it once again flourish in a new time and age!

Thrash metal that honors the old days, but refuses stagnation!
