Playtika was founded in Israel. Israel is the heart and soul of our company.  And when it bleeds - we bleed. Since the brutal attacks on Saturday Oct 7, our teams have been working relentlessly, trying to support our southern employees, their families, civilians and troops in the south - providing housing solutions in safer areas, delivering food and supply donations to those in need. Our Playtikans have also been constantly working to support their friends and families, not only opening their homes and hearts, but also volunteering and donating, warming our hearts. We condemn these brutal and violent attacks, and pray for better, safer times. #WeStandWithIsrael

Meet the Playtikan 👋 Li-av Izhak joined us over 3 years ago. Starting as a UX/UI designer at Solitaire Grand Harvest, now she’s leading the UX/UI team at Redecor. Portfolio Magazine sat down with Li-av and her team at Redecor to see how they are “gamifying” interior design. WHAT’S YOUR CONNECTION TO GAMING? “I’ve always had a soft spot for gaming. On Saturday mornings, I used to play fun arcade games with my older brother. When I get into a game, I invest in it daily for over a year. It’s not about the quantity but the quality; that’s what I enjoy, mastering the game.” WHAT DOES A UX/UI TEAM LEAD DO? “In management, I need to be high-level, looking at the scene from the outside. We have a standard to meet in terms of art, and there are developers who need to ensure we stay on schedule. It’s about knowing how to distinguish between the essential and the trivial, so we can make the best product.” WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST INSIGHT INTO THE WORLD OF UX/UI? “In the gaming world, possibilities are endless. I believe that UX designers who want to advance in the field, the more they understand the business, even logically what happens before what, what impacts what, these connections will allow them to create a more complex system; a smarter design.” WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB? “As a manager, the thing I love most is when my designers reach milestones and grow. It excites me as if it were my own achievement. And professionally, this might sound funny, but I really enjoy solving complex edge cases. Celebrating 14 Years of Bingo Blitz! 🥳 We are thrilled to mark the 14th anniversary of our Bingo Blitz studio. Yesterday, we gathered to honor the memory of our dear Playtikan, Ilia Shlomin. Ilia was a cherished member of our Finance team at Playtika, whose dedication and warmth touched everyone around him. In tribute to his lasting impact, we’ve dedicated our gym in his name. Joined by Ilia’s family in an intimate ceremony, we shared stories and memories that celebrate his life and the joy he brought to our workplace. Ilia’s spirit will continue to inspire us every day. He will always be remembered and deeply missed.

Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting a dynamic Unity Meetup at our Warsaw site 💪 The event brought together the local Unity Developer community for a day of knowledge-sharing, networking, and innovation. 🎙️ Key Highlights: 🔹Vladislav Doroshev shared his journey through the world of game development, offering valuable insights into creating innovative games. 🔹Siarhei Tychynski dove deep into the technical challenges and creative solutions that power standout games. Building the path to restoration in Sderot, one room at a time 🏫✨ Sderot has faced countless challenges over the years, including the tragic attack on October 7. With Kiryat Hemed Amit school being a cornerstone for its 550 students and devoted teachers, Playtika has been committed to helping rebuild and improve their facilities. Restoring the 3 teacher's rooms is just one part of the process — creating a place where educators can feel supported, empowered, and ready to inspire the students who depend on them.
