Discretisation is a geological process, meant to determine a series through code, enumerating a workspace. In simple terms, it’s mapping a territory, thus reducing it to an algorithm. The intention here has been to create a cartography of the nervous and affective processes in the body. And whilst it might be a deeply personal allegory, the intention comes forth from exactly this: thinking through the body, with its electrical intensities, circulating within us. The exact processes that have become fully subconscious nowadays, as there is and always will be an algorithm that knows and determines us better than we could ever be capable of.
