Last summer, when we were collecting tracks for our second longform ambient charity compilation, The Longest Time, Henrik sent me a piece he called 'String Drone Adagio', a long and textured piece made only with cello, effects, and processing. A couple of days later he sent me two more. We chose one for the compilation, after which I suggested that he create a few more tracks using similar methods, resulting in this phenomenal album. Combining several longer tracks with shorter ones, this collection flows beautifully, using the complex timbres of the cello and taking them to new places.
