195K views · 5.1K reactions | Crispy baked chicken wings✨ Method inspired by @thepioneerwoman 🤍 Wings:▪️2 lb. Chicken Wings, wings and drumettes separated (instructions below)▪️1 tsp Kosher Salt▪️2 tsp Baking Powder▪️Avocado or Olive Oil Spray▪️ Sauce:▪️4 Tablespoons Salted Butter, melted▪️1 tsp Smoked Paprika▪️1 tsp Garlic Powder▪️1/2 tsp Onion Powder▪️1/4 tsp Kosher Salt▪️1/4 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper▪️1 Tbsp Honey▪️2 Tbsp Franks Red Hot Original Buffalo Sauce▪️ Serving:▪️Celery Sticks▪️Ranch Dressing (or Blue Cheese Dressing)▪️Buffalo Sauce▪️ 1️⃣ Trim off the wing tips (discarding them), then slice through the joint to separate the drumettes from the wings. Pat both pieces thoroughly dry between two paper towels. (This step is important as it will help them crisp up in the oven). 2️⃣ To a large bowl, add the wings, drumettes, salt, and baking powder. Toss until evenly coated. 3️⃣ Cover a half sheet pan with foil or parchment paper (for easy cleanup), and line it with a wire rack (if you have one). Generously coat the rack with oil, and then arrange the wings and drumettes on the rack, leaving space between each. Let the wings stand at room temp for 1 hour (this will dry out the skin), or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator. 4️⃣ Preheat the oven to 450F. Bake the wings for 25 mins, flip, and bake for another 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy. 5️⃣ Meanwhile, make the sauce: Mix together the melted butter, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, honey, and buffalo sauce. Taste and add more salt, honey, or buffalo sauce, if desired. 6️⃣ Transfer the wings into a large bowl and pour on the sauce. Toss until evenly coated. 7️⃣ Serve in a large shallow bowl with celery sticks, ranch dressing, and extra buffalo sauce on the side. Enjoy! ⏲15 minute prep time + 1 hour inactive time + 45 minute cook time Recipe serves 4-6 as an appetizer For all recipes delivered to your inbox weekly (with printable PDFs) + access to the searchable recipe archive, subscribe to my newsletter via the link in my bio 😘 | Maxi's Kitchen

It's delicious. It's crunchy. It's easy to make and it cooks in 2 minutes. Hey, what's up Facebook family? I wanted to tell you that my daughter is going to college tomorrow. So, we're going to drive up there. It's a couple hours away where we're going to take her but tonight, this is our last night with her before she goes off to college and she requested one of her favorite things that I make and so I'm going to show you what I actually do for her. This is an easy process. I'm not using my high-end expensive cameras. I'm just using my phone. I'm going to walk you through I do what starts off we've got some panko bread crumbs and eggs I've seasoned them up with salt pepper garlic powder onion powder paprika two eggs salt pepper garlic powder onion powder paprika panko the eggs and the flour because I have two or actually it's just one whole chicken breast but it's two small ones and so what I did was I got some plastic and I pounded them out to where they're really thin like that okay and then I'm going to take them and I'm going to stick them in the I'm going to coat that chicken breast and the flour. Hope everybody can see. Next thing it's going to go in the egg wash. You want to make sure that you coat all of that flour in the egg wash. Okay? Alright, it's coated pretty good. You can see. Next thing is the panko. Panko grape crumbs. And then I'll just press it just to make sure that it's completely incorporated. Shake off any excess. And so there you have. Alright. It's it's my daughter's favorite kind of chicken tender that I make. The next step is we've got our oil up to temperature. 350 degrees. We're going to take that chicken and we're going to fry it. And it fries very very quickly. See how quick that fries so what I'm going to do is I'm going to flip it over after about 45 seconds Look at that. Beautiful golden brown. Set it right here immediately. Take some sea salt. And that's what the chicken tender looks like. Okay? And they're also really fantastic when you dip them in homemade buttermilk ranch. Balance. I'm telling you. Hit me a note down the comment if you actually make these.

For the wet mix add 4 eggs, ice cold water, and hot sauce. Season your chicken with salt, paprika, and black pepper. Then add your chicken into the dry mix, then into the wet mix, then back into the dry mix. Let your chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before frying. Heat up some vegetable oil to 350 degrees and fry your chicken for 10-12 minutes (you can use a thermometer to make sure the chicken is fully cooked). I loved this recipe and will definitely be making it again! 🤤 the chicken was crispy, delicious, and juicy!
