*Story* This necklace is the Persephone's Light Necklace as the design was made as I prepared my home for winter in observance of the seasons changing. According to mythology Persephone was kidnapped by Hades and taken to the underworld where she spent 6 months in darkness while her mother Demeter cast a veil of death and cold over the world as she mourned her daughters absence until she returned in Spring. I designed this necklace as a sort of symbolic orb of light in darkness.
