Clay Repository | DIY Clay kits on Instagram: "⭐️ Clay tip: baking flat pieces of polymer clay  If you are tired of getting air bubbles on your flat pieces (bubbles that were not there at all when you took the pieces to the oven) of if your flat pieces are inexplicably bending or getting misshaped during baking, keep reading.  Here’s an easy way to fix that: the tile sandwich method.   Use two tiles with office (or printing) paper in between, as seen on this video, when baking your pieces. Don’t worry, the tiles will not smash the clay and the paper will not catch fire in the oven (not if you are using the correct polymer clay baking temperature which is quite low).  Your pieces will come out not only the way you intended them to, but they won’t have shiny backs either. Win win!
