Pen & watercolour paints; green book

Altered book project. We had to alter the book to reflect the content of the interior. I used the Collected Works of Lewis Carroll for my piece, and created a piece reflecting the moment where Alice meets the Cheshire Cat.

As a child I loved pop-up books. A friend once sent me a pop-up postcard of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain featuring a thoughtful, solitary figure. It was a beautiful, inspiring card.
