The Sprouting Homestead | Alberta Homesteader on Instagram: "Cinnamon Apple Dutch Baby🍎 4 Tbsp salted butter 2-3 Gala apples sliced thinly 3/4 cup flour 3/4 cup milk 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder 2 Tbsp maple syrup 4 eggs 2 tsp cinnamon INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 400 F Slice apples 1/4” thick. Place butter into a cast iron frying pan and into the oven to melt butter. In a bowl or blender combine the flour, baking powder, salt, milk, eggs, and maple syrup, mix to combine. Lay sliced apples on the bottom of the hot pan on top of the melted butter. Sprinkle cinnamon over top. Pour mixture over apples. Working quickly so that the pan remains hot. Peanut Butter & Jelly Stuffed French Toast Ingredients: 8 slices of brioche or challah bread 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup jelly or jam 4 large eggs 3/4 cup whole milk 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Salted butter for cooking Method: Spread the peanut butter on 4 slices of bread and the jelly on the other 4 slices, then sandwich them together to make 4 PB&J sandwiches. In a shallow dish, whisk the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Heat some salted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, soaking both sides well. Place the soaked sandwiches in the hot skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy
