Century Schoolbook Typeface Promotion Poster - The typeface that I admire which is "Century Schoolbook" was later designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1919 who is also an American Typographer. With this design I used pastels, drawings and digitally scanned them into Adobe Photoshop and then enhanced the colours and embedded a black textured paper which was also scanned, I then simply blended the two together using the opacity tool.
An advertising project to promote a new/ fresh way of promoting new music and artists/ bands. I would like to introduce you to Amplifi a new fresh way of discovering new music and also friends with the help of added social media also you will be able to re-create the wall of sound, as you will be able to stream across all platforms of devices such as Phone, Tablet and PC which believe it or not does not exist.
Advertising/ Promoting - Healthy Eating - A slightly reverse approach, imagine a juicy burger in its box with chips scattered around it anyone and most likely everybody will be hooked into wanting it, which is the beauty of advertising, I used this method but replacing the chips to carrots and burger to apple, beans, leaks to make the healthy look tasty! - Using Photography.
PLEASE CLICK TO ENLARGE - Visual Identity - We given a pool full of organisations that do exist I chosen to do Dull Mens Club, I made the design dull, but used funny expressions that dull men would say e.g I need to buy a pint of milk. So even though it looks boring I added humour to the text that makes it memorable.
