Cat - Sleep Consultant on Instagram: "Becoming a parent often means starting out with zero knowledge about infant sleep. . We figure it out as we go, learning through trial and error. . The truth is, 50% of sleep is driven by nature, and the other 50% is nurtured. . What if I told you there are ways to support your little one in getting better sleep from the start? . Here are a few key steps I recommend you begin with early on. . I guide parents through all of this in my step-by-step sleep programs. . They’re tailored to be age-appropriate and designed to meet your baby’s unique needs. . Katy Bourzikas on Instagram: "Ready to Sleep Through the Night?? AWAKE in the crib is the foundation to sleeping through the night and longer naps! It’s a skill that takes time, practice, and consistency. 💤 If you’ve been feeding, rocking, or holding to ‘drowsy’ or asleep and transferring to the crib you may find that over time it’s something that now has to be done every time to fall asleep. These are all things our baby can’t do for themselves, so we continue to do these interventions because they tend to work well…UNTIL they DON’T. Over time, many babies will start to take more and more rocking to fall asleep or will wake and cry when you try to transfer from the breast/bottle to the crib and then you end up repeating the same thing until they’re finally in a deep enough sleep.
