The hat is worked from the bottom to the top, seamless in rounds. This instruction is for double pointed needles, but you can use long circular needles and the magic loop. If you are not comfortable with tubular cast on, use the long-tail cast on method for the hat instead. If you use long-tail cast on method for the hat, use two ribbing size needles held together to make sure the cast on edge isn't too tight. The chart is available on the last page, separate from the instructions, to save printing paper and ink. The panel on the chart is to be repeated 3 times around. This is an easy project, but it requires certain knitting experience. Do not hesitate to reach out via email gnomesalltheway@gmail.com in case you have any questions. Happy knitting!
