Eternal Light: The Sacred Stained-Glass Windows of Louis Comfort Tiffany at the Driehaus Museum. Chicago, IL.
This site is under construction.
Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933), transformed an ignored medieval medium into the epitome of Art Nouveau. During the last quarter of the nineteenth century, decorative stained-glass windows appeared in churches, civic buildings, steamships, shops, and homes, thanks largely to Tiffany. A variety of his works are held by the Morse Museum, home to one of the world’s most comprehensive Tiffany collections.
