Patrick Vernuccio on Instagram: "Tips to grow your own Ginger at home 🫚💚 Nature is beautiful and so generous, out of one ginger rhizome, you can obtain lots of new fresh ginger! And yes, it works in pots 🙌🏼 Here are some additional tips to this video to help your grow your own fresh ginger 🫚 It works with organic ginger not treated with anti sprout spray 🫚 Place it into water the first days then pour out the water and only spray water every day, after some weeks it will sprout. Sometimes you can even buy ginger that is already starting to sprout, makes it quicker 🫚 You can either plant the full ginger rhizome or cut it into several pieces to plant more as long as each pieces have a sprouting eye 🫚 Place your ginger in a pot of 4L / 1 Gallon, place near a sunny window and let i
Patrick Vernuccio on Instagram: "Save your Basil Plant 🌱 Here is how to avoid a Basil Trauma and multiply your basil to obtain new free plants 💚 I bet you already bought this lush basil from your supermarket and after a few days…It will die. This has nothing to do with you, here is how to keep your basil plant alive and even multiply it for free 🌿 DIVIDE THE PLANT Don’t be scared to divide the plant into 4/5 small group of plants and replant in individual pots. In 10-15 days it will grow new roots, you can create infinite new plants just out of one stem! Change water every 2 days. BASIL PLANT CARE Place near a sunny wi
Sarah Gerrard-Jones on Instagram: "Millions of orchids worldwide get thrown away when they finish flowering. Here’s how you can save them: • The first thing to do is get rid of the stick, this is just to make sure the flower stem doesn’t break during transportation. • If the flower stem is still green cut beneath the lowest flower and above a node. Another stem is likely to grow from this node. • Silver coloured roots indicate that it needs water so put the plastic pot into a decorative pot without a hole and fill it up to the top. Leave it to soak for 5-10 minutes, you’ll see the roots turn green. • Take the orchid out of the decorative pot and let it drain, save the water to use again. Make sure to wipe away any water from the leaves. • Put the orchid on a windowsill that doesn’
Dana Carpenter | Houseplant care on Instagram: "You won’t believe this…the cutest hanging propagation vase in just seconds! 🌱✨🙌🪴 Last time I posted this video I received many requests for a much slower version!! So here it is!! Save it for when you get a chance to make one!! It’s in real time and hopefully easier for you to see all the steps! 💚 I used cotton craft chord, but any yarn, string or twine would work! I cut mine about 4 feet in length! I’m now addicted to plants and this yogurt 😂 I love the reusable containers so much! Someone commented that this reminds them of when they used to do cat’s cradle as a kid and now I can’t stop thinking about it. Must be why this is so fun for us millennial plant lovers 😂😂 Hit follow for more plant DIYs and care tips like this 🪴 . .
