This weekend, on 10-11 June, Kyiv hosted one of the most anticipated events among the crypto community in Eastern Europe – Incrypted Conference 2023. For the first time ever, the conference was held over two days and combined online and offline formats. All tickets for the offline meeting were sold out several weeks before the event.

On 10 June, the online day of the conference featured the following speakers: Eowyn Chen (Trust Wallet), Marta Belcher (Filecoin), Anton Bukov (1inch), Kristina Lucrezia (Cointelegraph), Alex Shevchenko (Aurora), Dmytro Kuriksha (UaCatsDivision), and other representatives of well-known projects. A recording of their presentations and answers to questions is already available on the official Incrypted YouTube channel.

The first day of the conference consisted entirely of English-speaking keynoters and international projects. In this way, we wanted to show that our crypto community has no usual geographical boundaries. We are building a truly international brand and with this conference, we are one step closer to our dream,” said Andrew Makarov, COO of Incrypted.

On 11 June, the first Ukrainian innovation park UNIT.City hosted the second day of the conference, which brought together more than 1000 representatives of the government, banking sector, regulators, large crypto startups and crypto enthusiasts from all over Ukraine.

We are becoming those who will stop at nothing in their desire to popularize Web3 in Ukraine. We are those who are ready to open Ukraine to the world as a powerful innovation and technology hub. Instead of the dying old one. And we haven’t even started yet” – Ivan Pavlovskyy, CEO of Incrypted.

The second day of the conference looked like this:

  • 11 hours of useful content from 20 speakers;
  • 10,000+ handshakes and contact exchanges;
  • 1200 cups of coffee consumed;
  • 10 startups pitched their ideas;
  • 16 partners and presenters companies;
  • 30+ media outlets supported the event as media partners.

The focus of the event was a panel discussion with representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation (Yulia Parkhomenko), the NBU (Arsen Makarchuk) and the industry regulator (Yurii Boyko), as well as lawyers Yevgen Pronin from Pronin & Partners and Petro Bilyk from Juscutum. They discussed the legalisation of cryptocurrencies in Ukraine, taxation and prospects for clear and transparent supervision with the moderator Kyrylo Bondar, a partner at UNIT.City.

Also, Vadym Hrusha from TRUSTEE, Anna Shakola from Cointelegraph Accelerator, Oleg Bevz from Hacken, and others shared useful information from the stage.

We would like to thank all the companies that supported this event and made Incrypted Conference 2023 possible: WhiteBIT, Trustee, 1inch, Bitget, Asymetrix, Whitepay, WhiteEX, Primex, Metis, Symbiosis, Hacken, DeXe Network, Dvizh, 001k, Axelar, NYM.
